Tennis Program

MSTA’s tennis program is managed by Marty Hublitz of McLean Tennis, and is tops in the McLean area.

Head MSTA Pro

Marty Hublitz, our new head pro, brings 35 years of tennis experience to MSTA. A USPTA pro level 1 instructor, Marty is a former number one player at GWU and went on to coach the Division I team for 4 years, with 2 conference championships. A former tour player who has stayed in the tennis industry via a chain of retail pro shops, Marty won the VA State Men’s Championships in 2004 and received the Virginia USTA “Sportsman of the Year” in 2004. Currently coaching his two sons Zach and Josh, who you will see on the courts on a regular basis at MSTA, Marty is available to help you with your tennis needs.

Asst MSTA Pro

Nick Bennett is in his second season at MSTA and has quickly become an endearing coach. Nick played competitive tennis for the past 10 years in Michigan, and has coached both girls and boys high school tennis at Western Michigan Christian. Nick played tennis for Grand Valley State University, compiling a 12-5 record before choosing coaching over playing. He is dedicated to teaching technique, consistency, placement and enjoying the game. In addition to running the summer sports camp, Nick works with the Adult clinics and coaches the Junior Tennis Team. He is available for private lessons.
